Dde server window: rstrui.exe 325 shdocvw.dll

Hi to all, i have a dde server window: rstrui.exe 325 shdocvw.dll running Windows 7 Professional. The problem is strange and havent had it on any other Windows 7 machine.

This happens on the local C drive and Network drives. Can anyone shed any light on this problem or offer any ideas on fixing it? I’ve just starting having real trouble with Windows Explorer in Windows 8. Whenever I right-click on anywhere in a local file, or right-click on a local drive, Explorer freezes. I cannot even create a new folder without Explorer crashing. I can’t right click anywhere, I can’t take ownership of the folders to confirm that this isn’t a permissions issue.

I’m really at a dead end with this. I have seen that people have had a problem with this in the past when right-clicking on items in the left-hand pane in Explorer, but this problem is much more widespread, as it is affecting every local folder. I followed the advice given in previous posts. I then tried disabling all items that were non-Windows to see if that would work.
